Dear Lloyd:

I received an e-mail from the person you mentioned that think that Carao is a scam. I just thought I'll pass it on to you and read what was said and what was my and his response.

...Here are the e-mails from F. Williams and I.

God Bless,
Belinda

This is the most unusual email I’ve ever written.  I’m very skeptical about purchasing products (especially those with too-good-to-be-true proclamations about health benefits), I’m been referred to you as a person who has considerable experience with the product Carao.  I hope that you can provide me with valid information concerning the product, and, if possible, some further creditable references.
Thank you in advance for your consideration.

Hello F. Williams,

I don't blame you for being skeptical about anything that sounds too good to be true. I'm very skeptical myself when I read or hear about any new product in the market but, if you don't try them, you will never know.

About the Carao, what I can tell you is, that is a native tree from Nicaragua, the country where was born, and it grows in others country too.  Carao is an old home remedy and food as well.  As a child I was sick very often and very anemic; my mother was advised to give me carao with warm milk every day until I recovered from my anemia and got stronger and rosy cheeks.

I've been in California for 31 years now and I had forgotten about the Carao. I'm  married to a wonderful husband; and about 2 months ago we visited his aunt (82 years old) and found out that she's been sick for almost one year; her doctor diagnosed her with chronic anemia with blood count very low 8.0 and was told that there was no cure for her illness of which I got a little bit upset because, I believe that there is a cure for any illness except for cancer if not caught on time.  I told her that I will help her and will look for some kind of information for her situation. When we got back home I asked my old sweet mother if she knew of any remedy for anemia and the first thing that came out her mind was: Carao and I said, that's right, Carao, you used to give me that when I was a sick child.  The next thing for me to do was to look in the Internet for CARAO and praying and wondering if anybody knew about it and had that precious food. To my delight I found 3 websites of which I ordered 4 bottles of Carao from: www.costa-rica-natural.com  [website has been changed to http://www.tropicalhealthfoods.com]

I received my order pretty quick and took it to my aunt in-law and told her to take the dosage as the instructions says and daily. She said she will and her husband will make sure that she will take it 4 times a day.  She took it for a month and it was time to see her doctor again. On the same day she called my husband and gave him the good news, her doctor found her blood count from 8.0 that it was before to 11 almost normal, my aunt in-law  also told her doctor that she was taking carao besides whatever else she had prescribed her, but I can assure you that it was not the drug (predisone) that she was taking that brought her blood count up, for she had been taking it for months with the same results of low blood count. Her doctor read on the info about the carao and told her to keep taking the prescribed drug along with the carao and that she will do some research on it. That made my day because not only her blood count is up but she also has some energy. Now her daughter will be ordering more Carao for her and will continue taking it. I did my part and I'm very happy for her.  I believe in natural food and natural healing. Just don't give up. Belinda, CA
